A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES DEBATE AND AN ADDRESS BY THE PRESIDENT BEFORE CONGRESS.....WHAT DIFFERENCE WILL THEY MAKE TO JOBS CREATION IN THE USA ???????????...........

The current field of eight Republican  contenders for the 2012 presidential nomination wil meet tonight at a debate co-sponsored by MSNBC and Politico, will be broadcast tonight and will provide those interested in the viewing audience with an insight into the the plans and proposals they have for addressing the American economy and to address the unemployment crises and job creation.  Former Massachusetts Governor Mitt Romney, who until three weeks ago, was the frontrunner in the field, proposed his own plan for creating jobs on Tuesday, and it will be a focal point of his debate performance tonight, and likely the target for rebuttal and attack from Minnesota Congresswoman Michelle Bachman, winner of the Ames, Iowa Straw Poll, last month; and the new surging frontrunner, Governor Rick Perry of Texas.  It will be Governor Perry's first national debate appearance, and will indicate whether he can hold his own in a structured, multi-candidate, debate format, versus a rally / speech style setting.  Also, whether he can make his points cogently and without alienating discernible segments of the audience and potential electorate, beyond the dyed in the wool Republican base.  Thursday evening President Obama will deliver an address before a joint session of Congress outlining
his proposals for a jobs creation plan to be sent to Congress for passage.  The President with the 2012 Election already underway, has perhaps, this one last opportunity to effectively respond and shape a viable response to bringing down the current 9.1 percent national unemployment rate and make substantial inroads to creating jobs.  Whether President Obama's jobs plan can pass the current Congress, or becomes his political blueprint for re-election next year, is as of now uncertain.  What difference tonight's Republican candidates' debate, or tomorrow's Presidential address will have on increasing employment and jobs prospects of increasingly frustrated and desperate Americans, beset by the ongoing challenges they face due to the affects of the worldwide economic recession that began three years ago, is yet to be seen.  What we can say going into them, is they will provide a doorway to the ongoing debate the next fourteen months of the American experience...........Fr.  Troy
