DELORES DEFINA HOPE, @ 102; REST IN PEACE...WIFE OF " COMEDIAN SUPERSTAR "BOB HOPE" 69 YEARS...... AND A TRULY CARING AND COMPASSIONATE CATHOLIC-CHRISTIAN...........

The woman who co-made the, "Memories", with her husband, who sang - "Thanks", for them with millions of fans around the World, Delores Defina Hope, passed away on Monday of natural causes, in the family home in Toluca Lake, California, at the age of 102.  A successful popular singer, in 1933, when she met the young comedian, who would become iconic over the next seven decades, they met at a New York nightclub where she was singing; and married the following year and  were husband and wife for 69 years, until his death in 2003.  Her husband was known to joke, "It was love at first song" !!  Delores Defina, became Delores Hope, and sidelined her own singing carreer to support and supplement his, over the next seven decades of their marriage.  Often appearing in his television specials and going on his trips around the world entertaining the troops for so many decades, she spent great amounts of time, not only raising their four children, but being extensively involved in philantrophic endeavors.  A very devout, Catholic-Christian disciple, of deep faith, Mass attendance, ministry, and prayer.  Delores was singing at USO shows to the American troops her husband visited annually up to age 75.  After that,she teamed up with singing legend Rosemary Clooney, and headlined a number of singing engagements, as well as recorded anew herself.  Her venerable husband, Bob Hope died in 2003, having just surpassed his 100th birthday.  His wife Delores passed away on Monday having celebrated her 102nd birthday.  She will be interred with her husband in the Bob Hope Memorial Garden, in the San Fernando Mission, in the Los Angeles valley.  For a life of dedication and fidelity, and for her many caring and compassionate acts in conjunction with her husband and family, Americans, and citizens of the World, acclaim, "Thanks For The Memories" Delores DeFina Hope, and God reward you for your holiness and generosity.  Eternal Life And Love Be Yours...........Alleluia Amen !!!!!!!!!!!...........Fr.  Troy
