EASTER TUESDAY : THE THIRD DAY AFTER THE THIRD DAY...........

It is an article of the Catholic-Christian Faith, that on the third day after His Crucifixion and Death, Jesus Christ rose from the Dead, and repeatedly appeared to His Disciples, before Ascending into Heaven, to the right hand of the Heavenly Father.  The Easter Season as we commemorate it annually, is 50 Days of acknowledging and actualizing our Belief in the Glorious New and Risen Life, of the Redeemer of Humankind; and the promised inheritance we bear, to share with the Lord Jesus, the Eternal Father, and the Holy Spirit, along with the host of angels and communion of saints, the joy and peace of Everlasting Life in God's Kingdom.  So we enter the 3rd Day of Easter, and continue to reflect on the transforming affect the Paschal Mystery of Christ's Passion, Death, and Resurrection, to save us from sin and break the bonds of death, that before its occurrence blocked the relationship between the Divine and Humankind.  The Sacred Scriptures on this Easter Tuesday, Isaiah 2:36-41; speaks of feeding our hungers and thirsts, by freely partaking of the generous portions of the banquet of life, shared with us by the Lord of Creation.  John 20:11-18; our Gospel Proclamation, shares the Easter Sunday morning story of Mary Magdalene when she arrived at the Empty Tomb, and how she rushed back to tell the Apostles what she had discovered - the Risen Jesus !!!  As you proceed with the unfolding of the presence and power of the Paschal Mystery in your life on this third of 50 Glorious Days, keep the sensational spirit and sacred truth of the primacy of the Resurrection, at the center of your life experiences.  Praise God for gifting us with Redemption, and the assurances of Faith, that we too, shall share in the Eternal Life; - The Risen Christ Has Gained For All Believers, Who Follow Him With Fidelity To Gospel Values...........Alleluia !
