EASTER SUNDAY DAY OF PRAYER AND FAITH IN THE RESURRECTION OF THE REDEEMER, JESUS THE CHRIST...........

On Easter Sunday as we celebrate the new life of Spring and the Risen Life of Christ, breaking the bondage of death and the selfishness of sin, attaining for all who Believe in and Follow Him, the assurance of Faith in Eternal Life through the Paschal Mystery of His own Resuurection.  That sacred truth was particularly the case today of an OLOL parish family, who lost their uncle this week, following a lengthy cancer struggle.  I visited him at home and anointed him at home some time ago, and his niece who was caregiving for him tells me her aunt and family think gave him the will to live as long as he did.  Today April 24, would have been the 65th Birthday of my oldest brother, Harry George Feusi, who died 25 years ago, in an accident on the Foresthill Road, above Auburn, when he was 40, and I was ministering at St. Joseph's Parish in Auburn, as a transitional deacon with Fr. Traynor.  They are just two of the souls we prayed for today and that are being remembered by families, friends, fellow believers, neighbors, colleagues, and classmaters, as we Celebrate and Commemorate, with Living Faith, Hope, and Love that is EASTER.  278 persons were present at Fr. Pius' concelebrated 10:30 am Mass; for a total of  648 Easter Vigil and Easter Sunday Mass attendees; and 1,509 persons for the whole of Holy Week and Eater Triduum; from Palm Sunday through Eater Sunday inclusive.  Happy Easter Sunday to Everyone, as I taxi to my Holiday Family Dinner, and the "Ham of God", Ilove so well today !!!!!!!!!!!...........Paschal Blessings,   Fr.  Troy
