5TH DAY OF EASTER : RESURRECTING THE PARISH INVOLVES CONFIRMATION REHEARSAL AND FINAL PREPARATIONS...........

Easter Week and the Story of the Resurrection of Jesus The Christ, continues to proceed as we share in these 50 Glorious Days of the Paschal Victory of our Redeemer.  Today's Gospel Proclamation, Luke 24:35-40; continues from where the Road to Emmaus passage concluded yesterday.  In these five verses, the Risen Jesus appears in the locked Upper oom to His Disciples, on the night of the Resurrection.  The Risen Christ imparts His Peace to them and extends to them the power to Forgive Sins in God's Name.  We too, as the Disciples of the Risen Jesus, share in the Peace and Forgiveness, The Christ of Creation and Humankind's Salvation.  As the Solemnity of Easter Week continues, how are you, me, and Catholic-Christians, everywhere responding in Living Faith, responding to, and incorporating the Paschal Peace and Forgiveness of the Risen Lord Jesus Christ, into the Life of the Church and the World ?????  Here at OLOL Parish, our Easter Week focus is on the Celebration of the Sacrament of Confirmation, with Bishop Jaime Soto presiding at, and administering the Sacraments, on Sunday morning at the 10:30 am Mass.  There is a Confirmation Rehearsal tonight, and I am spending some of today organizing the Luncheon we will share with Bishop Soto, on Sunday afternoon.  The parish maintenance man wil also be here this morning to do his twice yearly check-up on the parish grounds.  All of this with less than 22 hours to that wedding across the pond, that is becoming the focal point of Great Britian and other nations around the World...........Fr.  Troy
