REMEMBERING GOLF GREAT SEVE BALLESTEROS.....DEAD OF BRAIN CANCER @ 54...........

This weekend the World of Sports, and the sport of Golf, lost one of it's most colorful players of the past four decades; Spanish Golf Great Seve Ballestreros.  In 1979, Seve Ballestreros, at age 22, won his first Master's Tournament, the first European born golfer to ever do so.  Over a thirty five year professional tour golfing career, he won multiple British Open, Masters Tournament, and PGA Championships, for a grand total of 87 professional golf wins, in a a well respected career.  Yet for all his success and fame, Seve remained his natural; easy going; no airs or affectations; self - a nice guy, who loved the sport he played.  Two and a half years ago, at only 51, he was struck with brain cancer.  The brain cancer, that took his life now.  Golfers and sports fans in his native Spain, where he learned to golf on the beaches; in the USA and Great Britain; and around the World; mourn his passing and remember with immense fondness and respect, the golfing career he chalked up.  Thank You Seve for all you did to make the game of professional Golf, all the more enjoyable for millions of fans.  God Bless You And Keep You...God Make The Divine Face Shine Upon You And Be Gracious To You...God Grant You Peace And Eternal Rest...Viva Seve !!!!!!!!!!!...........Fr.
