6TH SUNDAY OF EASTER AND THE PROMISE OF THE SPIRIT -IS ALSO THE BIRTHDAY ANNIVERSARY OF AN AMERICAN PRESIDENT AND A WORLD RENOWNED COMEDIAN...........

After His Resurrection and before His Ascension, the Risen Christ assured the Apostles and other Followers, that they need not have troubled hearts, nor would they be orphaned, after His Risen and Glorified Lordship was Ascended in return to God's Kingdom in Heaven.  Last Sunday, and today - John's Gospel proclaims that assurance of Faith to all who are, Catholic-Christian Belivers.  Fifty days are a lengthy time to keep the Paschal Season of New and Risen Life in Christ, fresh and motivating.  Yet the Proclamation of John's Gospel, helps us to achieve that goal in the Prayer, Worship, and Ministry, of being Church.  On this Memorial Day weekend, as we commemorate the men and women who have served in the United States Military throughout our history in vigilance, and especially in the times of war, to gain peace.  A peace that must be founded in the Peace of God's Reign; let us pray fervently that we who prclaim ourselves Disciples of the Risen, Ascended, Spirit-sending, Jesus The Christ, may fully Witness to the Gospel of Life and Paschal Peace, that daily ministers to the Body of Christ on Earth, the Church founded by Jesus, and serves the betterment of the People of God, we are initiated to be in building the Coming of the Eternal Kingdom of Love...........In The Promise Of The Advocate Jesus Is Descending Upon Us,   Fr.  Troy
