ANOTHER ERRONEOUS PREDICTION AND FALSE PROPHECY COMES AND GOES WITHOUT OCCURRING...........

Confusion abounds on this May 21, 2011, the latest predicted date for the end of time, the Second Coming, the Parousia, the "Rapture", that was prophesied by an 89 year old Christian Family Radio preacher, who has done so once before, seventeen years ago, and was proven wrong.  Several of the world's time zones, have surpassed their 6 pm hour, with no occurrence of either an earthquake, or the end time, taking place.  That it would occur at 6 pm on May 21, 2011, was the first word uttered, and now in recent days, a clarification that it will be 6 pm Eastern Time.  Other than the prediction, there is no other evidence that today, and any hour of it, holds this world alternating, / ending, happening.  Over the past century, 100 or more, of these end time prophesies have taken place, only to come and go, with the World and Creation, as humankind know them remaining intact.  It underscores the gullibility of so many persons, to be misled, by erroneous predictions and false prophecies, while confirming the words of Jesus The Christ, that God Alone, namely God the Heavenly Father, knows the Day and the Hour, the Second Coming / End Time will take place.  Why the personal prediction of anyone person, especially a person who has already been proven wrong about the Parousia / Rapture, is believed by Disciples of the Redeemer of Humankind, is incredulous.  Pastor Harold Camping,  is a self taught interpreter of biblical passages, so by what authority does he possess the ability to make this most significant of prophecies ?  Only weak hearts, and unenlightened minds, would put credence into a unsubstantiated someone or something, as vital as this.  If those who buy into the doomsday scenario, would put equal or greater, energy and belief into their interpersonal and communal relationship, with the authenticity of the Divine, they, the Community of Believers, and the World, could be so better served.  If indeed within a matter of hours, the End of Creation were to happen, how much more ready would the vast majority of the global community, be because of the pronouncement of a man, whose business and resources have increased by more than five-fold, all because of a claim, there is any proof is, or will occur ?...........Is this being overzealous, or as the saying goes being, "Crazy as a Fox" ?,   Fr.  Troy
