5TH SUNDAY OF EASTER JOY : "DO NOT LET YOUR HEARTS BE TROUBLED; HAVE FAITH IN GOD, HAVE FAITH IN ME"...........

In the New and Risen Life of Jesus Christ,  with three weeks of our Catholic-Christian Pasch remaining on the 2011 Liturgical Year, John the Evangelist clearly proclaims in today's Easter Gospel, belief in the power of Jesus the Christ's Resurrection, to keep us from being sad and engulfed in sorrow and sin; to rise above mere temporal considerations, and place the fullness of our Discipleship focus on the primacy of Faith in God the Eternal Father and in Jesus, the Divine Redeemer of Humankind.  Moving beyond the fear of weakness and selfishness, that only hold us back and drag us down; detaching from our true anchor in the New and Risen Life of Christ, placing our belief and practice in the Paschal Mystery of Passion, Death, Resurrection, Ascension, Second Coming, that are represented by these 50 Glorious Days.  The Second Coming, also known as the End Times, Parousia, Apocalypse, seem yet to be in the future, after Saturday's latest prediction having come and moved on; so that our focus and current opportunity provides us with a renewed experience of all that Jesus has undergone for the salvation of sinners and the reconcilitation between the GodHead and Humankind.  Not letting our hearts be troubled, or diverted from the preciousness of embracing our Faith in the God our Heavenly Father, and the Co-Eternal Son, our Savior; we strengthen the Gospel Values of the Body of Christ, The Church - and build gracefully with the Holy Spirit, the Coming of God's Kingdom of Everlasting Life.  Your presence and participation at Sunday Mass today and every Sunday, grows our Faith relationship forward in fellowship and fidelity, that is  sincere and unconditional.  As this 5th Sunday and Week of Easter dawns, what are you doing to signify your wholehearted willingness to maintain your ministry and mission with the Risen Christ Jesus, at the core of your Faith ?  Parish communities throughout our country and around the globe, need your active involvement prayerfully, worship-wise, and ministerially ?  What are you doing ?, What more can, and will you do, to make a viable and necessary contribution to the betterment, and increase, of Catholic-Christianity - in the Community of Believers ?????...........Believe In Jesus, "Our Way, Our Truth, Our Life",   Fr.  Troy
