STEVE JOBS - 1955 -2011, COMPUTER TECHNOLOGIST AND INNOVATOR...........

Apple computers, i-pods, i-phones, i-pads, are all the brainstorm genius result of Steve Jobs, a college dropout, whose impact on technological innovation and computer development has truly transformed the way the world communicates, the past thirty five years, died Wednesday, at age 56.  Starting out in his family's Silicon Valley home garage, with his collaborator Steve Wasniak, Jobs was the partner with the ideas; Waniak was the partner with the engineering skills.  What they spawned in that garage, led to substantial developments in the past three and a half decades.  Following eight years with pancreatic cancer.  He was 56.  As I blog this to you, I am reminded, all of us who use computers, or any of other similiar technology, have good reason to be grateful to him.  Thank You Steve Jobs !!  May you reap the reward of your contributions to the betterment of the world vis a vis the technological innovations you envisined, created, produced...........Fr.  Troy
