OLOL's R.C.I.A. WEEK 4 - . KEEPING THE LORD'S DAY HOLY WHILE TRUSTING IN GOD ON THE JOURNEY OF LIFE AND FAITH............

This 28th Sunday in Ordinary Time morning, the Inquirers of OLOL Parish in Sacramento / Del Paso Heights / Rio Linda / Elverta / Robla / will continue to be led on their journeys of Life and Faith, as they inquire into Catholic-Christianity; by considering the holiness of the Sabbath, and the necessity for Hope, on the path they have embarked on.  Reverend Father Pius Pius Amah, Parochial Vicar pro tem, will lead them from thir Dismissal after the Homily, at the 8:30 a.m. Mass, to conduct the Breaking of the Word session with them, focused on today's Sunday Scriptures, proclaimed at Mass - Isaiah 25:6-10a; Philippians 4:12-14, 19-20; Matthew 22:1-14;   The theme for their discussion is keeping the Lord's Day with  a spirit of holiness, rest, leisure, family, charity, and reflection, evident in our lives.  Presiding at the 8:30 a.m. Mass, I will then join the Inquirers, to lead the inquiry session and we will be focusing on the need to Trust the Lord God, as our journeys proceed  through the present into the future.  Our Inquiry group thus far, of 4-5 members, is small enough to be a very good opportunity for continuous personal interaction and sharing.  Today's Inquiry session will set in motion the telling of their personal stories in the light of their current journeys of inquiry regarding the Catholic Faith.  It will be surely be another wonderful gathering...........With Hope The Eyes Of Our Hearts WIll Be Fully Enlightened In Jesus,   Fr.  Troy
