PARISH-WIDE OCTOBER EVENT - SPAGHETTI DINNER / TALENT SHOW TODAY...........

As this Saturday morning opens, I set up and connected myself to the zyvox antibiotic infusion therapy this morning, struggling awhile with threading the tubing, and needing to address an occlusion at the start, caused by failing to release the stop.start click hanging along the tubing.  Father Pius appeared just as I was starting the pump, and assisted me in resolving the stoppage and getting the infusion started.  It is now eighteen minutes underway.  Today in addition to theregular meeting of the Lay Canossians, the Parish Hall is fully in motion with preparations and readiness for the Parish-wide Spaghetti Dinner / Talent Show from 4:30-7:30 p.m.  Everyone is Welcome, both parishioners, neighbors, and the general public.  The Spaghetti Dinner is $6.00 for adults, $4.00 for children / $40.00 maximum per family; And a 50/50 Raffle will be held.  Finalizing work on my Sunday Homily and new Roman Missal revised Mass texts Message for this week, I will be hearing the 4 p.m. Confessions and presiding at the 5 p.m. Sunday Vigil Mass, before going to the Spaghetti Dinner / Talent Show...........Fr.  Troy
