TWO WORDS SUMMING UP GADHAFI AND SHEEN...........

For more than a week, Muoammar Gadhafi, and Charlie Sheen, have been the dominant names in the news. One is a maniac dictator whose thirst for power and control is unquenched after forty years; the other a manic star whose celebrity has gone beserk.  The potential harm Gadhafi is, and can, continue to exert on his own Libyan People, the Middle East, and the World, is a serious matter that should concern conscientious persons.  The rants and raves of Sheen's current outrageousness is trivial at best; and is cult of personality driven; and not a substantial consideration.  In my analysis of the present state of these two persons on the world stage and the news coverage they are generating, it is important that we distinguish between addressing what is real and potentially threatening to the peace and justice of a nation and the global community, and that which is trivial and purely publicity and media driven.  Gadhafi is a mad-man and Sheen is media-driven.  I fervently hope more of us will prioritize our focus on the consequences of the mad-man dictator, and not the media-driven personality, who is now seemingly mentally challenged by his addictions.  Initial indications in the public reaction gives that edge to Charlie Sheen.  Think about it.  When people are being killed in defense of their liberty, how is it society can be equally, if not more interested in the meltdown of a movie and television star, whose lifestyle has inflicted his woes upon him ??...........Fr. 7:50 PM - As the day ends, Gadhafi again proves his untrustworthiness and Sheen has confirmed his need to be institutionalized for what appears to be a near mental breakdown...........
