3 NIGHTS BEFORE CHRISTMAS AND ALL THROUGH THE CHURCH..........

With the final days of Advent, down to only seventy hours before the arrival of Christmas and the Coming of the Messiah's Holy Birth anew into our lives this year, changes are taking hold as trees, evergreens, and the Christmas creche, have appeared in the church, as a diligent team of parish elves descended upon our edifice last night and decorated the sanctuary and nave of the church, doing a remarkable job of Christmas-ing our small space, in a simple, but significant way for OLOL.  All that needs to be added are parishioner poinsettia offerings contributed to in the Christmas flower envelopes the past few weeks; which a parishioner who is a florist, will transform into altar sanctuary poinsettias to beautify and add that last touch of Christmas color.  So come Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and the full sixteen and one third days of the Christmas Season, will be festively and fervently celebrated here at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, as the Light of the Coming Messiah's Holy Birth - Jesus the Christ, burns brightly throughout Del Paso Heights / Rio bLinda / Elverta / Robla / Sacramento, this CHRISTMAS..........Fr.  Troy
