SANTORUM SERIOUSLY QUESTIONS WHETHER ROMNEY WOULD BE BETTER THAN OBAMA AS PRESIDENT............

Campaigning Thursday in anticipation of Saturday's Louisiana Primary, Rick Santorum in his latest salvo against his Republican Presidential Nomination rival Mitt Romney proclaimed that re-electing President Obama would be preferable to electing Romney, whose true conservative convictions he continues to question, and who he again referred to as a, "etch a sketch candidate".  Romney campaign spokespersons and other Republican operatives decried Santorum's statement as going to far in expressing favor for the incumbent President over his fellow GOP challenger, and expressed that conservative Republican base voters, who staunchly oppose Obama, would strongly disagree with Santorum's statement.  Will the Santorum campaign pull back the comment as many expect will happen, perhaps as soon as today; or will it stand and be re-enforced in coming days, will determine whether Santorum spoke recklessly and committed the newest gaffe and unnecessary error the American electorate has witnessed in Campaign 2012 to date.  Whatever the immediate fallout from Santorum's latest remark, pundits are predicting that if Romney is the Republican nominee, that the Obama campaign ads will incorporate the Santorum comment into the General Election contest............Fr.  Troy
