SILVER JUBILEE FRIENDSHIP TOUR MONTEREY CA............

After attending the half ten a.m. Mass as the Irish say, in San Carlos Cathedral in Monterey, the oldest Cathedral in California, dating back to 1770, our silver jubilee touring today took us to the Fisherman's Wharf and Cannery Row of Monterey, where Ger and Kev were not only enamored with the views of the harbor, beaches, and ocean, but captivated by the quaintness of the shops.  Then we proceeded to taking the breathtakingly scenic, 17 Mile Drive off Highway 1 South to Pebble Beach.  Tomorrow we will head to Carmel, and after lunch drive to Sacramento, to take in the local sights and prepare for Wednesday night's festivities as my 25th Anniversary of Priesthood is joined to their Silver Wedding Anniversary.  As we wind up day 3, Ger said it best this afternoon, how each day is topping the other for being a fantastic holiday experience............Fr.  Troy
