A LONG AWAITED ARRIVAL DAY IN THE GOLDEN STATE............

At this hour my Silver Jubilee visitors from Kilkenny, Ireland - Geraldine and Kevin Butler, traveling with Father Oliver Maher have arrived on the east coast of the United States and are awaiting their flight westward at Newark Liberty Airport, in New Jersey.  In just over an hour from now they will takeoff for San Francisco, where I will welcome them this evening and begin our two week trek, the Butlers' first time in California USA, celebrating our thirty year friendships and their 25th Wedding Anniversary last September, and my Silver Jubilee of Ordination to the Priesthood next week.  The drill for me this morning is to get packed, go to the bank, and then take a taxi AT 1 p.m., to the Sacramento Airport for a puddlejumper flight to SFO.  Waking to wetness in Sacramento, I'm hoping it will be decent weather in San Francisco this evening, as the last thing Irish travelers need on a holiday is rain !  Excited to be welcoming these cherished friends to California, after looking forward to it for more than twenty years............Kev, Ger, and Ollie, California 2012, Here You Come !!!!!!!!!!!!   Troy
