THE BUTLERS FIRST DAY IN SAN FRANCISCO WITH OLIVER AND I............

An early enough morning with yours truly the last to breakfast and then off to Fisherman's Wharf where we boarded a Red and White boat line Golden Gate Bridge / Alcatraz Island cruise, first of the two San Francisco attractions Geraldine and Kevin wanted to especially experience.  Then they took a cable car ride down Powell Street to Union Square, where after lunch in the 1950's decor atmosphere of Lori's Diner, a little retail therapy was completed by the Butler's at Macy's.  After a brief respite back at our rooms in the Holiday Inn, we headed to the Franciscan Restaurant on Pier 39 for dinner.  All in all, it was by Kev and Ger's account, as well as Ollie and me, as trult fabulous day with bright sunny weather.  Tomorrow we take a tour of Muir Woods and then head to Monterey, the next stop on this journey of friendship and jubilee............Fr.  Troy
