RENEW INTERNATIONAL COMING TO OLOL IN JANUARY...........

The first set of materials from RENEW International, the parish spiritual renewal process OLOL Parish will be starting in January 2012, arrived yesterday and are exactly what they should be to reinvigorate all our members at the core of our existence as Disciples of Jesus The Christ.  "Longing For The Holy", 'Spirituality For Everyday Living' will be our focus for six weeks of Ordinary Time January 9 -Feruary 13, 2012; and for six weeks during the Easter Season in the Spring.  Our Lenten Series starting Feb.27, will also be a RENEW offering, "Lifting Up Our Hearts".  Then, continuing next autumn Advent and Lenten Series' of six weeks duration, will proceed wiith RENEW's "Why Catholic", spiritual renewal ministry process based on the four pillars of Catechism of the Catholic Church - the Christian Profession of Faith; the Christian Mystery -Sacraments; Christian Morality; and Christian Prayer.  An outstanding array of Faith Formation and Faith Sharing for everyone in the parish, that will enrich and empower our Community of Believers, to grow stronger and more viable as a sustainable parish, spiritually revitalized at its very core.  It promises to be as it has been for over three decades in parishes and dioceses throughout our country and in other places in the world, a wonderful mutual and communal experience of rediscovered and renewed spirituality, in our relationships with God and one another as Belivers in, and Followers of, The Christ, Whose Advent we Anticipate and Celebrate Everyday of our lives...........Come Lord Jesus !!!!!!!!!!!   Fr.  Troy
