THE CULMINATION OF EASTER 2011 COMES WITH THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT ON THIS PENTECOST SUNDAY...........

Catholic-Christian ubiversally rejoice and are filled with gladness, as we close the 50 Glorious Days of the Easter Season, and our springtime of the Church commemoration of Jesus The Christ, God The Father;s Co-Eternal, and Spirit-Sending Son.  Having washed ourselves anew in the Perfect Sacrife of Jesus; His Passion, Death, Resurrection, and Ascension, during the Seasonsof Lent and Easter, we are now focused on the strength and grace, God's Holy Spirit fires into us, as fervent Disciples of the Holy Trinity of the Divine GodHead.  The Gifts and Fruits infused into our lives, as the Holy Spirit descends upon the World, and imbues the Community of Believers, with the renewed life of Pentecost, is our undeniable opportunity to grow and go forward, as the fortified and sustained People of God, in the Second Vatican II, post conciliar, Third Millennium, Body of Christ, The Catholic-Christian Church.  On this Pentecost Sunday 2011, I am also delivering the first annual, 'State of the Parish' Address, delayed from Oir Lady of Lourdes Parish Feast Day, February 11th, and we are celkebrating our annual Parish Festival, one week later than planned, due to last weekend's bad weather.  So for OLOL, today is a three-fer :  The Spirit of Pentecost;  The Goals and Priorities Proposed  in the SOTPA; and feasting with families, friends, and fellow believers, as well as neighbors, at the Parish Festival.  I very much look forward to giving the two orations of the 1st Annual 'State of the Parish' Address, at today's 8:30 am & 10:30 am Masses, as out of the starting gate, at the 5 pm Mass, it seemed to be well received, as far as any of the feedback, I received went.  More later on this Pentecost-SOTPA-Festival Sunday...........Thank You, God Bless You, Long Live Our Lady of Lourdes Parish,  Come Holy Spirit, Come !!!!!!!!!!! ,   Fr.  Troy
