NEWS 10 AND THE TWENTIETH ANNIVERSARY OF THE, "COATS FOR KIDS" CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN..........

My television news anchor friend, Dan Elliott, and his colleagues at News 10, are carrying out their 20th Anniversary COATS FOR KIDS Christmas campaign, which concludes this Friday December 3.  The News 10 Coats For Kids 2010, has a Goal of 25,000 coats donated.  If they attain this year's Goal, the cumilative contributions they will have collected and distributed to needy children will be more than 500,000 !!!!!   In the cold of Winter what better gift can you give a needy chi;d, than a warm coat ? " New or gently used Coats", are accepted, so a look through your clost can help the cause.  Co-sponsors with News 10 in the community  this year include Swanson's Cleaners, the Salvation Army, Rogers Jewelers, Century 21, Tri Counties Bank, and a number of local radio stations.  So look and see what you perhaps can do to help News 10 make the 2010 campaign a roaring success and make a difference in the lives of needy children and struggling familes.  Your donation of a Coat for Kids will warm the heart as well as the body of a person on the margins this Christmas and Winter..........Fr.  Troy
