AGAINST THE ROPES POLITICALLY AND MORE REVERSALS OF FORTUNE..........

Having taken a shellacking in the Midterm Elections, with the loss of more than 60 seats in the House of Representatives and 6 seats in the U.S. Senate, President Obama is continuing to face setbacks on his 10 day Asian visit to 4 countries and the Asian Economic Summit.  After a warm and successful three day stay in India, and a visit to his childhood home of four years, Indonesia, the President discovered rough waters in South Korea, failing to convince them to allow more American made cars into South Korea.  Economic politics on the heels of a chastened President Obama in the aftermath of the election, but what I believe is ingratitude on the part of a nation, we have steadfastly defended against their neighboring enemy North Korea, for sixty years.  Fifty seven of those years after the Korean War ended and more than three and a third decades after the United States attempted to scale back our armed forces there, to the loud protestations of the South Korean government.  So I say to the Obama Administration proportionately limit the number of South Korean cars that can be imported into the United States, until South Korea agrees to allow more of our cars into their market. Other allies were also indifferent at the Asian Summit to supporting American proposals, namely China's currency imbalance,  likely because of the change in the President's approval at home.  That is politics that we too must strengthen our resolve be a contender with lasting resolve to fight the good fight in convincing other countries to join with us in serving more than just their national interest and strengthen the weakened world economy by agreeing to what is for the common good for the vast majority of nations..........In Hopeful Expectation For Justice And Unity,   Fr.  Troy
