THE MOST HOLY NAME OF JESUS ON THE TENTH DAY OF CHRISTMAS...........

Having enjoyed a relaxed breakfast,with freedom to rest as the day progresses, I am in full chillax mode for the duration.  Governor Brown's Inauguraton is less than 2 hours away.  I am locked away, with my television, telephone, and laptop, not to be disturbed until the live coverage is complete.  On the third day of the New Year, as the work a day world summons us to put the holiday season away and return to the ordinary time of the daily grind.  However, today is the 10th Day of Christmas, the Feast of the Holy Name of Jesus.  Therefore, as Disciples of Jesus The Christ, Redeemer of Humankind and Savior of the World, we honor and glorify The Most Holy Name of Jesus today, even as we return to work, school, and everyday, workaday, activities - by maintaining the spirit of Christmas in our attitudes and actions towards and with others.  Lift up your hearts, and think positive thoughts, as you carry out whatever responsibilities you discharge today.  And remember, just as "Jesus is the Reason for the Christmas Season", so too, can and does he shape the direction and effectiveness, of everyday of the year - if only we let Him into our experiences...........Most Holy Name Of Jesus Be Forever Praised,   Fr.  Troy
