MEMORIAL SERVICE TRAVELING DAY ON THIS 12TH DAY OF CHRISTMAS..........

9:51 am -  Awakening at an early 6:30 am on my third Christmas to keep a medical appointment at Sutter Roseville Hospital before heading to Sacramento International Airport and my flight to Dallas, for Brian Welch's Funeral / Memorial Service tomorrow, it is a full and fast morning of movement......12:10 pm  Waiting to board the flight to Dallas / Fort Worth Airport, which will be a 2 hour 55 minute flight.  I should arrive there at 5:40 pm, about an hour and ten minutes after Curtis Richards, who is flying from Wahington, D.C. .....7:49 pm - Curtis was one gate from my arrival gate at a bar called 'Blue Mesa', where we had light refreshments before proceeding to our hotel.  It will be a quiet, chillaxing night, as we prepare for Brian's Service tomorrow afternoon.  Our ride to the hotel was interesting as the taxi driver, Alor, a soutthern Sudanese man, discussed the problems in his country with us.  He has been in Dallas since 2000, and is excited about the referendum Sudan is voting on this Sunday, about dividing the country into North and South Sudan.  Northern Sudan is predominately Islamic; while Southern Sudan is very Christian.  Alor himself is Catholic.  He also thinks highly of actor George Clooney and his efforts on behalf of Sudan.  He has met him and proudly took a photograph with him.  More from Dallas, (actually Colleyville, where the Weches live) tomorrow after the Funeral / Memorial Service / Dinner /.  Peace + Prayers,   Fr.  Troy
