THE ONE HANDED HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL PLAYER.............

Seventeen year old Milton Georgia high school basketball player Zach Hodskins, is not only a phenomenal three point scorer, he is also a one arm player, as a result of a birth defect.  Zach Hodskins childhood dream has always been to play college basketball, a dream about to come true, with an announcement this week.  The University of Florida Gators, have decided to start Zach on their basketball team next fall.  Zach seen as an anomaly and incapable by doubters proves all his doubters wrong with the skills at running, dribbing, throwing, and scoring, with the basketball he has the undeniable ability to achieve.  Having only one arm, Zach has all but perfected the ability to flip the ball around his body and vault down the basketball court  ahead of the other players, usually scoring with precision throws, quite often three point shots.  Kudos to this determined Georgia boy and to the scouts for the University of Florida Gators for drafting Zach to play college basketball.  They are empowering another disabled but still enabled American to be all he can be !.............Fr.  Troy David
