MAROONED FIVE............

Discharge and transfer today from Mercy San Juan, to Mercy General Rehab, is still predicated on bed availability. I have seen the doctor this morning, but not the case manager, and as it moves toward
Noon, the likelihood begins to lessen, that it will be today. If it is not, then I am marooned here for five days now, with non certainty when the transfer will actually occur. On Ground Hog Day, it is like that movie of the same title, being stuck in time, day after day, repeating the same scenario, unable to break out of a frozen holding pattern. My far from perfect patience, is being stretched as no matter how responsive my condition is to getting back on track physically and therapeutically, here I lay unable to do anything about it but pray and wait, while vital time ticks away............Fr.
