A REMARKABLE PRIESTS DAY ALUMNI REUNION @ ST. PATRICK'S SEMINARY..........................

My seven hour return back to St. Patrick's Seminary and University, in Menlo Park California; was a truly remarkable reunion at the 2013 Priests Day Alumni celebration.  Sharing the adternoon and evening with my beloved classmates, Auxiliary Bishop of San Jose Thomas A. Daly; currently the Interim President of St. Patrick's Seminary, as well as Father Daniel B. Donohoo;who is now serving on the Seminary Faculty in Menlo Park, as a Spiritual Director and the Director of the Pastoral Year seminarians.  Fr. Dan, Bishop Tom, and I, were last together at Dan's Ordination to the Priesthood in Indianapolis, Indiana; his native diocese on June 7, 1986.  Having stayed in contact over the past twenty seven and a half years, it was a truly wonderful reuniting face to face with him - a man and priest I greatly admire and respect as a friend, colleague, and brother, in Jesus The Christ.  I will be blogging more about the reunion and the affirmation of priestly ministry it was for me and those present.............Fr.  Troy David Powers
