SACRED HEART RCIA's BREAKING OF THE WORD BEGINS @ MERCY MCMAHON TODAY............

On this 1st Sunday of Advent the Inquirers and RCIA Team members from Sacred Heart begin the weekly Breaking of the Word sessions after dismissal following the Homily from the 9:30 a.m. Mass, and come here across the street to Mercy McMahon Terrace, to spend time sharing responses and insights into the Sunday Scriptures.  I will join them for these weekly sessions and look forward to further sanctifying and commemorating Sundays communally with them in a way loyal and committed Catholic-Christians do each week.  Beyond hearing today's Liturgy of the Word proclaimed and preached, how much more will you and your families Break Open God's Word, on this 1st Sunday of Advent, which will make them Living Words pertinent to our Life and Faith journeys; not Dead Letters read or heard, but unheeded and ineffectual in moving our lives forward.  Preparing the way for the Lord's three-fold Coming today and everyday of Advent; and anticipating the Hope, Joy, Peace, and Love, brought about by the Incarnation, Paschal Mystery, and Living Faith as Jesus' Disciples, challenge us to enlighten our hearts and minds as we join in Building God's Kingdom here and now............tdp
