PARISH MINISTRY MEETINGS WITH THE PASTOR CONTINUE.....ADVENT / CHRISTMAS COMMUNAL PENANCE SERVICES PLANNING BEGINS IN THE AMERICAN RIVER SUBURBS DEANERY..........

Having already met this month with the Parish Finance Council, the Feed the Hungry Ministry, and the Ladies Council, for their Parish Meetings With The Pastor, today I will have a 1 pm meeting with the members of the KPC, the Knights and Ladies of St. Peter Claver.  I anticipate it will be a very good meeting, as they are a dynamic and very engaged group, that is domiciled at St. Anne's Parish in the Meadowview area of South Sacramento, and are also present and participating here at OLOL.  Also today, it is time to finalize our Advent / Christmas - Lent / Easter Communal Penance Services schedules for the other parishes in the American River Suburbs, Carmichael, Fir Oaks, North Highlands, Rancho Cordova, Arden, Arden-Arcade, North Sacramento, as well as ourselves, Del Paso Heights / Rio Linda / Elverta / Robla.  Tonight, I am having a ministerial dinner meeting and get together here at OLOL, with my priestly colleague and good friend, Rev. Fr. Steven Avella, to discuss the Parish Advent Mission he will be leading for us in December.....Congrats to the San Fran Giants Wednesday night on their 11-7 victory over the Texas Rangers in Game 1, of World Series 2010.  Go Giants Go !!!!!!!!!!  Will this finally be the year after 52 years in the Bay Area of Northern California, that the SF Giants, WIN a World Series ??????????..........Peace + Prayers in Jesus The Christ,   Fr.
