T & O's MARBELLA SPAIN SIDETRIP FRIDAY..........

Days 2, in Marbella, Friday, had us off to a leisurely breakfast of Alpen sugar free granola, wholemeal toast, fresh squeezed orange juice, and cafe con leche.  An 11 am visit to Frank and Irene's to retrieve brother Ken, he, Ollie, and me, proceeded to La Canada shopping mall for some retail therapy.  Next stop was Funny Beach, where the seven of us, five adults / two children had lunch, before enjoying a couple hours of sun, surf, and sand.  Oliver and Ken, jetskiing; Irene, Frank, and boys, strolling on the beach, playing in the sand, and wading in the waves of water; and yours truly relaxing in a rented, 6 euro, lounge chair under a tabled, umbrella.
Then after a few more hours of uneventfulness in the splendor of the Senoria de Marbella apartment, it was off by taxi, to the neighboring municipality of San Pedro.  Our focus for the evening being the celebration of the Ammar's 5th Wedding Anniversary, at the exact location of their Wedding Reception, "Tikitano".  There we dined on a st menu of, Rocket Salad, Sea Bass, Beef Fillet with Mixed Vegetables, and Chocolate Cake. Two of Irene and Frank's favorite white and red wines, sparkling water, (con gas)and cafe con leche, rounded out the meal.  The dinner show was a trio of Irish-English singers presenting thesongs and music of Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, and Sammy Davis, Jr.  We happily sang along, laughed, and took our trns on the dance floor with the bride of five years.  As the Irish saying goes, "The craic is golden"..........TO BE CONTINUED From Th Heat And Humidity Of Southern Spain,   Fr.  Troy
