CATHOLIC EDUCATION IN AMERICA GREATLY BENEFITTED BY MOTHER ST. ELIZABETH ANN SETON............

Elizabeth Ann Bayley Seton, an Episcopalian woman, wife of a doctor, and mother of their five children, in 19th century, became one of the first canonized American Saintss in the Catholic-Christian Faith, in 1975.  After bein widowed and raising her children, Mother Seton, converted to Catholicism, and founded a Religious Order of Nuns, the Sisters of Charity, whose apostolate is the education of  Christian girls and young women.  An outstanding educator and exemplary Catholic-Christian role model, her Discipleship and contribution to Catholic-Christianity, makes her a most fitting believer in Jesus the Lord and Savior, to be canonized first along with St. John Neumann, Bishop; as Saints of the Unied States of America.  St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Religious -  liturgical feast day is commemorated today; and St. John Neumann, Bishop - has his liturgical feast day commemorated tomorrow; the crescendo of the Christmas Season, at in the starting week of the New Year.  Prayers and Blessings to the Catholic Education faith community of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton School, in the Elk Grove parishes of Good Shepherd and St. Joseph, in the Sacramento Diocese............With Joy And Peace In The Redeemer's Light,   Fr.  Troy
