PATRIOTIC AMERICAN DIPLOMATS KILLED IN LIBYA............

Shocking senseless news today that the American Ambassador to Libya Chris Stevens, and three of his diplomatic colleagues have been killed in an attack by Islamic extremists on the American Consulate in Benghazi.    The attack supposedly a lashing out against a film made by an American construed as insulting to the prophet Mohammed, as the basis for the committing of these murders.  Both President Obama and Secretary of State Clinton decried this tragic act, the President in his official statement from the White House condemning the outrageous attack.  Governor Romney delivered remarks on the tragedy from Florida, discussing the sadness and brutality and expressing sympathy, hours after his campaign released a statement that was roundly criticized for politicizing the moment and seen as seizing on the opportunity to shore up current criticism of his candidacy among conservatives.  Representative Ryan has just spoken at a campaign rally, calling for a time of healing and resolve, and saying this incident calls for American leadership and strength.  Ambassador Stevens, age 52; was a native Northern Californian, and a graduate of the University of California Berkeley; who was a twenty year member of the diplomatic corps and an expert on Libya, who has served the State Department there under both Secretaries of State, Condoleeza Rice and Hillary Clinton. He, his colleague Sean Smith, and 2 others as yet unnamed, until their families are notified, are dead as a result of a stipid film, founded at least in part by the Florida Pastor Terry Jones, who last year stirred riotous uproar in the Muslim circles, over his burning of copies of the Koran, the Islamic Scripture.  In the aftermath of this latest controversy and subsequent violent protests against the United States in Cairo, Egypt yesterday, steadfastness in our Courage, and Compassion, with a continuing unflinching Commitment to Justice, and Peace, that serves the greatest good of international relationships that are unwavering in our mutual resolve for civility and order that is constructive must be our goal, as we remember and honor the fine work, honor, and valor of the Chris Stevens' and others who have sadly  been struck down striving to achieve these goals............Fr.  Troy
