MAYOR CASTRO DELIVERS VIBRANT KEYNOTE ADDRESS; LEADS INTO INTRODUCTION OF FIRST LADY MICHELLE OBAMA............

The 37 year old Mexican American Mayor of San Antonio, Texas; Julian Castro, intyroduced by his identical twin brother Joaquin, has delivered a remarkably vibrant, upbeat, cogent, Keynote Address to the 2012 DNC, speaking strongly for the re-election of President Barack Obama, and saying Governor Mitt Romney doesn't get it.  A videotape presentation about First Lady Michelle Obama is preceding her speech, featuring herself, her brother, mother, Jill Biden, Valerie Jarrett, other Americans and President Obama, who calls his wife, the "Best Mom in the World".  A military mom comes out on stage, who has four sons in the U.S. Military.  She lauds Michelle Obama, Jill Biden, and the President, for their support of military families.  She repeats for the second time she is not a political person, but a mom, who will be there for those who are there for her and military gfamilies.  She introduces the First Lady, who happily makes her way to the podium to a rousing reception.  She begins speaking of the very best of the American Spirit.  Citing examples of people who do in so many selfless ways. Who inspire her, and remind her we live in the greatest nation on earth.  She tells her love story with the Barack Obama she first met, who grew up in a family who shared her family's valuesw.  She speaks of her own father who worked hard everyday even as he struggled with Multiple Sclerosis.  She shares their families' belief that id you work hard and build a decent future you deserve to get ahead, playing by the rules, valuing everyone's contribution, showing everyone respect.  Today she realizes  being President doesn't change who you are, it reveals who you are.  Citing Lily Ledbetter Law, Tax Cuts for the Middle Class, Rescuing the Auto Industry, National Health Care Law, Right of Women to make Health Choices, as examples of who Barack Obama is.  Decisions like these not being political, but personal, extending the opportunity to live the American Dream because he has lived it, by reaching back and helping others succeed as he has succeeded.  His character, conviction, and heart, are the same Barack Obama she fell in love with all those years ago.  She speals of the letters from Americans he reads at night, and the things yet to be fixed and the so much more yet to do.  She loves him more now than she did 4 years.....and 23 years ago when she met him.  She says like his grandmother he gets up everyday despite the obstacles, with patience, wisdom, courage, and grace, in moving forward.  Comparing what our parents and grandparents did to build and sacrifice that surely we can do the same for our children and grandchildren; referencing veterans, the moon landing, civil rights, and the freedoms, we have and are experiencing.  She calls her greatest job, Mom in Chief.  And she summons her audience to support the man who will take this country forward, "her Husband, our President", Barack Obama"............tdp
