GALLUP DAILY TRACKING POLL AUG. 24-27; VERSUS AUG. 31-SEP. 3;............

The Gallup Daily Tracking Poll of the Presidential Election campaign reports the following findings both going into and coming out of the Republican National Convention, and as the Democratic National Convention begins.  The Poll showed voter preference August 24-27, to be -  Romney 47%;  Obama 46%; as the Republicans gathered in Tampa, Florida to nominate Governor Romney and his running mate Representative Paul Ryan.  But this week after the Republicans' gathering the Daily Tracking is reversed with  Obama 47%;  Romney 46%;.  Thus no bounce from his Convention, but instead an incremental loss in support for Governor Romney.  Thus President Obama begins the Democratic National Convention with a one point edge over his Republican competitor.  At the same time Gallup finds his Presidential Approval Rating stands at a three point deficit of 45% Approval;  48% Disapproval, as he prepares to accept re-nomination and make his Nomination Acceptance Speech this Thursday night.  Meanwhile a commentary on Bloomberg News said today the Obama campaign needs to use Vice President Joe Biden more to appeal to White male working class voters who siding with the Republicans to date, in the 2012 campaign by a large margin............tdp
