LATEST MEDIA COVERAGE OF PRESIDENT OBAMA HIGHLY CRITICAL............

On this Labor Day Monday, on the eve of the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, North Carolina; the press coverage of President Obama's leadership has come under highly critical scrutiny and response.  The New York Times, Washington Post, Huffington Post, and Politico, among other newspapers and internet websites, are running unflattering stories about the President, despite the right wing and FOX News assertions that the mainstream and or liberal media are in the tank for Obama, in this Presidential Election.  The New York Times has criticism of the President for his ego and saying he's not as effective at matters from "politics to poker" as he claims to be.  The Washington Post continues to focus on the comments like "you didn't build that". as a sign Obama has an,"awkward understanding of the free enterprise"system.  The Huffington Post chides him for not fulfilling the change he promised, saying he's more of the same old thing.  And Politico, calls Obama's governing style. "unrelentlessly familiar", "politically uncreative", and "culturally uninspiring".  With this kind of coverage and analysis going into his re-nomination week festivities and Acceptance Speech Thursday night, President Obama will be even more challenged to deliver an address that not only answers his critics, but provides a specific path forward as he is referring to the expectations for his Speech, as he denotes what his continuing leadership as President in a second term will bring.  And as for those who jump to the conclusion the media is automatically supporting Obama's re-election, I think the self
proclaimed, "fair and balanced" news media",  can learn they too will be more credible by being less predictably partisan and more forthright in their coverage and analysis of the President, politics, and government............tdp
