THE GOP's R n R TEAM 4th RALLY TODAY IN THE OLD DOMINION............

Rally number 4 for the roll-out of the Romney-Ryan Republican ticket is in Manassas, Virginia where Representative Paul Ryan, the newly named Vice Presidential candidate opened his remarks by saying, "On November 6th, we take back our country !".  He continued bemoaning the failed leadership of President Obama who he says hasn't changed, or moderated, his approach, but is staying far left.  After touting his running mate's Business and Olympics experience he introduced Mitt Romney, who described Romney saying if you use one word, the word is, Leader.  He then praised his character and courage as a young man in Janesville, Wisconsin, and as an adult in Washington, D.C.  Romney repeated that President Obama has cut Medicare by $700 billion and that Ryan working with Democratic Senator Wyden, has proposed a plan that will save Medicare.  He decries the "product" of the Obama Plan.  He argues for his 5 point Plan  1. Energy 2. Skills 3. Trade  4. Cut Spending and Balance the Budget  5. Creating New Jobs.  He then mocks President Obama's statement, "You didn't build that",  and pledges that the Romney-Ryan ticket will take this country back and keep America, "the greatest Hope on Earth".  This fourth rally in Virginia concludes the public campaign events of the first day of their teaming as the 2012 Republican ticket seeking to win the White House.  They move on tomorrow to North Carolina, and then go to Wisconsin, for a HomeComing Rally.  I will be here to capture the campaign events of this bus tour and the celebration in Chicago of the President's Birthday............Fr.  Troy
