NEW QUINNIPIAC UNIVERSITY POLL SHOWS OBAMA LEADING ROMNEY IN 3 KEY SWING STATES............

The latest Quinnipiac University Poll taken in tandem with CBS News and the New York Times between July 24 - 30, has President leading Governor Romney in the electorally essential swing states of Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.  The President's tax proposal revolving around those earning more or less than $250,000 a year is also finding solid support in those same three States. More than 1, 100  Likely Voters in Florida, Ohio, and Pennsylvania, were asked if the Election for President were held today who they would cast their ballot for responded :  in Florida - Obama 51%;  Romney 45%;  in Ohio - Obama 50%;  Romney 44%;  in Pennsylvania - Obama 53%;  Romney 42%;.  The margin of error is less than three percent, thus it could be from a dead even tie, to a twelve point Obama lead in Florida and Ohio; to a five to seventeen point Obama  point Obama lead in Pennsylvania.  No Republican candidate for President has ever won the General Election without winning Ohio; and since the Kennedy-Nixon Presidential Election in 1960, the winning candidate has won at least two of the three States, with President winning all three in 2008.  The drop in the UnEmployment rate in these three swing states greater than it is nationally; as well as support for the President's proposal to raise taxes on  those earning more than a quarter of a million dollars a year income, leading in this poll are likely boosting Obama's re-election in these three States.  Support for the income tax increase on households earning more than $250,000 annually is 58%-37%; in Florida;  60%-37%; in Ohio;  and 62%-34%; in Pennslyvania.  Continuing the focus on the swing states that will determine the outcome of this Election, President Obama campaigned in Ohio today, attacking the Romney Tax Plan saying it would cause the poor and middle class to pay more in income taxes to offset tax cuts for the wealthy.  The Romney campaign charged the Brookings Institute / Tax Policy Center report on which the Obama attack on Romney is based, has, "glaring gaps", and is being used by the Obama campaign to distract voters from what they call a, "sputtering economy".  Last November, campaigning against Texas Governor Rick Perry's income tax proposal in the Primaries, Romney called studies by the Brookings Institute/Tax Policy Center an, "objective, third party analysis"............Fr.  Troy
