R n R RALLY HIGHLIGHTS FROM HIGH POINT, NC............

Paul Ryan is now speaking in High Point, N.C.;  saying that together, he and Mitt Romney are going to get the country back on track, from a path of doubt, debt, and despair.  He says putting it back on track will mean providing for our children's future, because that is what our parents did for us.  He describes America as being unique, as not only a place, but an idea.  He says again as he has at most of these rallies, the idea is that our liberty/freedom comes from nature and God, not from government.  He is telling the crowd our nation is facing a test, and that that test requires leadership, the kind of leadership Romney, who he calls the epitome of leadership, is the one to provide.  Citing his raising of a Family, building a Business, saving the Olympics, and who as Governor did successfully the opposite of the policies President Obama tried and failed with.  He introduces Romney concluding with the comment that the President has gone from Hope and Change, to Attack and Blame, which he says Romney and Ryan will not allow.  Governor Romney after recognitions and introductions of persons in the crowd, namely Veterans, and introduction of politicians, begins delivering his speech talking about critical times,  NC's 9.4% Unemployment, the national debt/deficit, and touts his 5 points of focus as President, -  Energy, Schools, Trade, Cutting Spending, Championing Business.  He refers to the economic messes in California, Greece, and Europe, and says he and Ryan will restore the Economy.  That wraps up their High Point appearance and the bus tour will now travel to the last public event of the campaign day, added to the schedule, a HomeComing Rally to greet and meet Romney-Ryan in Waukesha, Wisconsin; which is just over sixty miles from Ryan's hometown of Janesville, the last of the two candidates joint appearances on this bus tour.  NBC News Correspondent Peter Alexander reports there were 10,000 people at the High Point rally, the largest crowd at a Romney campaign event all year.  Steve Baldwin of FOX News has just announced the Romney-Ryan advance team for the bus tour is working strenuously to assure that the rally crowd in Wisconsin is overwhelmingly large.  I noted watching the first two events this morning that the crowd response to Ryan was much more effusive as he spoke, than it was at the first.  Virginia being a swing State which has been trending Democratic the past several years, may explain this, along with the possibility that many of the people in these crowds may not be supporters, but spectators who have turned out to see the two candidates, or likely voters who are as of yet undecided.  I will be blogging more on the Romney-Ryan Roll-out this afternoon............tdp
