TODAY IS GIVING TUESDAY.............

On this "Giving Tuesday", we are reminded amidst a sea of shopping til you drop frenzyness of the Holiday Season and the push for end of year commercial profit margins, there is a higher purpose we as good citizens and faithful disciples must include in our seasonal transactions, and that is charitable concern  for the truly needy.  4,000 non profit organizations are  taking part in Giving Tuesday today - including the National Catholic Partnership for Disability NCPD.  I have made my Giving Tuesday donation to them and request that you do also.  A monetary contribution of $10.00 or more, will go a long ways toward helping them raise at least $20,000.00 in donations today, in thhe self ffunding they must do to exist and effectively advocate and act on behalf of the 14 million American Catholics with Disabilities.  If you are in my circle of friends and plan to give me a Christmas present, make it a monetary donation for Giving Tuesday, to the NCPD.  Go to their website,  www.ncpd.org  and follow the directions for making your gift.  Every dollar raised will help to increase national Catholic awareness and proactive action to promote the welcoming accessibility and full inclusion oof the Disabled in our churches, halls, schools, catechetical centers, rectories, and all other buildings and ministries of the Catholic Church in the USA.  Thank you in advance for any contribution ro this Giving Tuesday you can make.............Fr.  Troy David Powers  Disabled Priest
