ADVENT AND THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION.............

The Prayer of Preparedness and Reform I offer you on this Monday of the Second Week of Advent, which is being observed as the Solemnity of the Immaculate conception, transferred from yesterday, it being the Second Sunday of this Sacred Season of Awakening and Anticipation for the Lord's Coming, is the following.

Let Us Prayer :

Ever Gracious and Loving Lord,  we seek to follow the path of wisdom and enlightenment followed by Your daughter the Blessed Virgin who was conceived without sin to be the vessel who bore the Redeemer of Humankind, Mary our Mother.  As the cooperating handmaid of the Lord, she eagerly brought forth the Christ of Salvation into time and place on Earth.  May we, as Advent People embrace her example of Holiness and Fidelity in the Discipleship of the Coming Messiah we await.

Through Christ Our Lord and Savior.  AMEN.
