SACRAMENTO DIOCESAN DIRECTOR OF WORSHIP DELIVERS 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF VATICAN II LITURGY CONSTITUTION PRESENTATION TONIGHT.............

Jim Cavanagh, the Director of the Office of Worship for the Diocese of Sacramento will be delivering a special presentation tonight at the Pastoral Center at 2110 Broadway tonight at 6:30 p.m. in observance of the 50th Anniversary of the Constitution On The Sacred Liturgy, Sacrosanctum Concilium; promulgated at the Second Vatican Council on December 4, 1963.  Having heard a preview at a Clergy Workshop two weeks ago, I will be present among the many tonight who will be in attendance as Cavanagh Presentation is open to all.  I recommend to every Catholic-Christian who is committed to, "Full. Active, Conscious", participation in the liturgical and sacramental rites of our Faith and want to appreciate them more to come along.  In the Spirit of Reform and Renewal this first and seminal Document of Vatican II denotes, Let us journey forward as God's Advent People Together.............Fr.  Troy David Powers
