THE MORNING AFTER THE ELECTION THAT IS 2012............

On this Wednesday morning following the re-election of the 44th President of the United States Barack Obama, American citizens and peoples around the Globe today are witnessing a Vote yesterday in which more than fifty percent plus of the National Electorate has given a second term in the White House to our first African American President; and hopefully declared as erroneous the preoccupation of a vociferous and divisive obsession with the birthplace, citizenship, religious, and cultural, affiliations of the man fifty to fifty four percent of voting Americans have twice in four years elected as the legitimate, constitutional, democratic, Chief Executive of the United States.  Hopefully, the naysayers, rabblerousers, self promoters, and racebaiters, will stop attempting to thwart the choice of most Americans to support our duly elected and re-elected President whenever we can in getting about addressing the real issues, problems, priorities, and needs, facing this country and the world.  The time for Politics of Obstruction and Indifference to the Common Good  is over and the result of the General Election is to move forward in Governing, proposing, crafting, compromising, consensus building, legislating in productive ways.  Re-elected,  President Obama  and the House and Senate, by working together in mutuality and conciliation for attainment of effective governance, can and will achieve so much more, if they do.  Persisting in political polarization and governmental intransigence have no place in the work before our leaders at any time - especially not now.  Let us pray that the immediate and lasting response to President Obama's re-election will be constructive and open to changing the landscape of poisonous                 partisanship so that the next four years can be a time of progress and redirection in solving our ecomic, fiscal, military, social, problems and meeting any other challenges together, as conscientious and dedicated patriots............Fr.  Troy

Writers for MSNBC concur with the way I have felt all along, that Obama's campaign team knows how to work the numbers with a surgical accuracy -- "...it was tactical dominance. Romney made inroads all across the country from previous GOP performance. What happened, however, was that the Obama campaign exploited the census and changed the margins. The best example of this was in Florida."

AFTER WHAT WE HAVE SEEN THE PAST TWENTY YEARS, IMAGINE WHAT THE UNIFIED FOURSOME OF THE C, B, A, P, ABOVE WERE TO JOIN IN OVERSEEING THE MANAGEMENT OF ANOTHER CAMPAIGN IN THE FUTURE............tdp
