THE FEAST OF OUR LADY OF SORROWS : THE PATRONAL FEAST DAY OF THE CANOSSIAN SISTERS OF CHARITY..........

The Canossian Sisters of Charity, the religious order that has served Our Lady of Lourdes and other Sacramento area parishes for nearly forty years, are celebrating their Patronal Feast Day, Our Lady of Sorrows, today.  At the 8 a, Parish Morning Mass attended by 30 parishioners they were recognized, affirmed, thanked, feted, and celebrated.  A Reception for them in the Parish Hall, and being the servants of God's People they are, two pf them four sisters who here in the Convent, were serving Coffee to us, who were honoring them.....Wednesday being my day off I spent chillaxing and attempting to fully put away the dregs of jet lag, as we stream forward into the new Parish Year and tomorrow brings further orientation and initial work experiences with Keith Gray, as he settles into his new responsibilities as OLOL Parish Secretary / Receptionist.......Hail Mary, Full Of Grace - Pray For Us As Our Lady Of Sorrows,   Fr.  Troy
