ASSOCIATED PRESS POLL OUT THIS MORNING............

The Associated Press Poll out this morning has the Presidential Race, Romney  49%;  Obama 47%   among Likely Voters; in a Obama 47%; to Romney  47%; tie with Women; and Romney 47%;  and Obama 42%; among men.  The accuracy of this poll is being questioned some for showing a complete wipeout of the gender gap between the two nominees in regards to who Women are supporting, given Obama's double digit lead with Women Voters until the First Debate; and for the closure of the double digit lead Romney has maintained among Men Voters until now.  The greatest change this week is in the Gallup Daily Tracking Poll, which last week showed as much as a seven percent lead for Romney, 52%; to 45%; for Obama, among Likely Voters; and now standing at Romney 50%; to Obama 47%;.  As Day 12 and counting to General Election Day November 6th, it is Math and Momentum in the intensity of the final roundup to victory for the Democratic incumbent President, or the Republican Presidential challenger............tdp

Obama will most probably have to rely on his Community Organizing skills to maneuver and capture WITH SURGICAL PRECISION the votes needed for the Electoral College. If he can indeed build a firewall around Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin that might get him reelected by the razor-thinnest of votes sufficient to tip the Electoral College to his side of the scale. An online site called Examiner.com has just published a compilation of tracking polls for Thurs 10/25 and almost all national tracking polls show Romney a whisker ahead, by a percentage point or two. http://www.examiner.com/article/daily-presidential-tracking-poll-october-25-2012 .
The developing situation really looks like the popular vote total might handily go to Romney, but of course it's the final tally of the Electoral College which is the ultimate factor giving us our President for the next 4 years. I think Romney really accomplished what he had to in the debates: to show that he was competent enough to be President. Maybe Obama might have to vary the oft-quoted remark he made to Hillary four years ago, "Mitt, your competent enough"
