THE COLLEGE OF CARDINALS GATHER TO CONCELEBRATE THE MASS FOR THE ELECTION OF A NEW POPE.............

At this hour, 1:45 a.m. Pacific Time, the 115 Cardinal Electors of the Papal Conclave 2013, are about to begin the Concelebration of the Mass of the Holy Spirit, invoking God's Spirit guide them in discerning and electing the best candidate among them as the next Holy Father of the Roman Catholic Church and the 266th Successor of St. Peter.  I am blogging this post as the live events unfold in Vatican City, as I will be during the duration of the Conclave.  The Interregum now turns to Conclave focus.  Media outlets are standing by providing introductory commentary until the opening ceremonies of Conclave 2013 get underway on this first day.............Fr.
