FUNERAL RITES FOR REVEREND FATHER JOHN "JACK" FOLMER.............

The Vigil Service and Funeral Mass for retired Sacramento Diocesan Priest and Canon Lawyer, John 'Jack Folmer, age 71, will be held next week.  Father Folmer was ordained a priest for the Diocese of Sacramento on January 1, 1969; was a very capable canon lawyer as I can readily attest, ministered both in Sacramento his native diocese, and for decades in the Tribunal of the Archdiocese of San Francisco.  The Vigil Service will be held in Sacred Heart Church at 39th & J Streets in East Sacramento, on Tuesday October 22, at 7 pm, and his Funeral Mass in the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament, at 11th & K streets in Downtown Sacramento, on Wednesday October 23, at 10 am.  May His Faithful And Soul Dwell Forever In Light And Peace.............tdp
