FIFTY YEARS AND PROCEEDING : AN OVERVIEW OF THE DOCUMENTS OF VATICAN II.............

Week 1, of Season 2, of the Sacred Heart Parish Dads Group ten weekly gatherings and discussions about the 16 Documents of the Second Vatican Council will get underway tonight at 8 p.m., at Mercy McMahon Terrace.  We will begin with the Introduction to the book, A Concise Guide To The Documents Of Vatican II, by Professor Edward P. Hahnenberg, and the Constitution On The Sacred Liturgy, "Sancrosanctum Concilium"; promulgated on December 4, 1963; the first document passed by the Catholic Bishops of the World at the Second Vatican Council 50 Years ago.  As we near the culmination of the, Year Of Faith, commemorating the convening of the 21st Ecumenical Council in the History of Catholic-Christianity; called by Blessed Pope John XXIII, a half century ago and still our calling in spirit and truth now.............Fr.  Troy David
