On this 6th of the seven days of the 'O' Antiphons prophesying the Coming of the Messiah, in ancient acclamations of Expectation and Waiting, our scriptural, liturgical, and prayerful, refrain is "O Come O Desire of Nations Come". It portends a future when the Anointed One of God, Who Comes as Savior of God's Advent People, as the Messiah of All People, and All the Nations of the World, not just the Chosen People of Israel. A Universal Redeemer born into the World of the God Creator of the Universe. Our Lord, Savior, Redeemer, the Messiah of All Creation is Jesus The Christ, the anniversary of whose Holy Birth we celebrate at Christ. He is the Prince of Peace and truly the Light of the World.
