MY CIRCLE OF, "USUAL SUSPECTS" IN KILKENNY, GATHER TO CELEBRATE FATHER OLIVER'S TRANSITION FROM ADMINISTRATOR OF THE CATHEDRAL TO PARISH PRIEST OF URLINGFORD...........

 After eleven years of priestly, pastoral, ministry as Administrator of St. Mary's Cathedral, in Kilkenny, Reverend Father Oliver Maher;  has been appointed  Parish Priest, - ' P.P.', of Urlingford, on the boundary of Counties Kilkenny and Tipperary.  Urlingford, Ireland -  my regular blog readers may recall; is the hometown of Monsignor Edward J. Kavanagh's Family.  At this hour all the, "usual suspects", in my circle of friends in, the, "Marble City", minus yours truly;  are gathered in the home of Patricia and Michael Shortall, 3 Riverside Drive, which they are hosting as a celebration to mark the start of Oliver's transition in pastoral ministry, which I am calling, "Midnight Straganoff 2" !!!!!!!!!!! My thoughts, and spirit, are with them tonight, that the good times we have shared so many of, over the past three decades, will be replicated over the next several hours - and a very happy night had by all !!!!!!!!!!!...........Fr.
