SACHEART DADS GROUP SEASON THREE ORIENTATION DINNER..............

The third season of the Sacred Heart Parish Dads Group in East Sacramento, which was formed ten months ago as a discussion group of topics including Theology, Vatican II, Scripture, Biblical Studies, gets underway tonight with an Orientation and Overview gathering.  Having thus far completed 21 weekly sessions Pope Benedict XVI's book, Jesus Of Nazareth - From Holy Week Through The Resurrection; and Edward Hahnenberg's Concise Guide To The Documents Of Vatican II; in Season 3 we will be reading and discussing the Acts Of The Apostles in the Christian Scriptures, along with the book by Scripture Scholar Raymond Brown, S.S., A Once And Coming Spirit At Pentecost.  In ten sessions between next week and mid April, the Dads Group will share their responses, understanding,  and insights, attained from our study of the 28 Chapters of Acts and Father Brown's Commentary on them.  I eagerly look forward to getting together with Tom, Jesus, Josh, Luke, Ryan, and Paul, as we journey onwards in growing and sustaining their Faith, Discipleship, and Spirituality, as Catholic-Christian dads and husbands..............Fr.
